Baba Sehgal has penchant for languages

Baba Sehgal has sung quite a few popular numbers in Tamil (including 'Kadhal Vandhale', 'Sokkupodi' and 'Jalsa') and Telugu. And the singer believes that language is not a barrier for singers at all.
“I know Sanskrit. I’m from UP and my Hindi is pure,” he reveals, “I make an effort to learn new languages. And fortunately, since I come to the south often, it’s easier and I’ve picked up a lot of words.”
The singer makes it a point to understand the words before heading to record a song.He says, “I understand the mood — if it’s a romantic or a sad song — before delivering it. That way, it makes me easy to impose the style I want for a particular song.”
